I have to agree with latest reviews. I am too guilty of having using this app for years and just now giving a review. It's the goto app to download pretty much any video or music I want from a given website like a champ. Not to mention if you happen to be a fast network, the stable/auto-reconnect/speed given to not one download, but multiples is very impressive. Again, the changes/improvements that have been implemented keep em coming. I would be willing to be an early adopter/beta tester.
Ad free version stopped working. Getting ads agian despite paying to remove them. Edit: one-time $7 to remove ads is very reasonable. Would be a good 5-star app if they could fix the ads. Or offer an ad-free upgrade. As-is, it's useless cause half the ads refuse to close. I'm switching to a different app. Done waiting on them to fix this one, it's been broken for over a year.
I'm still experiencing the same problems as before. Again, I paid for the ad-free version, but I'm still experiencing banner ads and full screen video ads when attempting to download videos. It is obvious that this app is broken and I want my money back. (UPDATE #5 - 5/13/2026: The devs are now in total denial mode and continue to insist that I am at fault for their screwup. It is obvious that I won't get a refund, so I'll cut my losses and move on. My one-star rating is final and irreversable.)
More and more the ads on this program will not let you shut them down even after you watch them for their duration it just stalls and forces you to try and go to their website. total garbage. (Follow up) Well your ad strategy sucks. I came back few months later to see if I got any better.. but of course it got worse. it seems clear at this point that they're trying to get you to watch 15 ads in a row before you can use their software for additional ad revenue.
Ads caused problems because they are intentionally tricky to to get through. purchasing the app is well worth getting rid of them. This is a much better experience. I am still having a problem. When I download mp4's to my phone and transfer them to my PC, there is no thumbnail of the vid, only a generic Windows icon.
