I don't understand the point of giving me a welcome $75 credit if you don't know if the One-Key credit will actually apply until you get to check out. I wasted so much time trying to figure out which property to stay at assuming that if the One-Key credit was checked yes when searching I would actually get to use it. The reality is you don't know until you get to the check out which is a waste of time. Just tell me up front.
Clean, safe, comfortable bed, good shower, two block walk or run to beautiful Grosse Pointe neighborhood, quiet. Prefer upstairs to downstairs (if you're lugging big suitcases, it might be a hassle - we had carry-on). Car parking is an adventure in the back. Driveway is narrow and needs a reset. Only 8-10 minutes from the upscale village center in Grosse Pointe. We would definitely stay there again.
I love Vrbo... but I hate your app. Everyone is not tech savvy. It is hard to pull up hones in the app that someone sends from website to my text. There is no where to search by property number. It is difficult to change the number of people in my trip section.... it is not simple for all people and there are so many other apps that are. I saw an ad for Vrbo that said you can type in a type of place, such as, themed bedrooms at Disney World. But it doesn't work that way. It should be better!!
This app almost ruined my trip. When I booked a cabin, the host sent a message in the app on how to enter the cabin but every time I went to messages in the app it just shows "no messages yet." So I was unable to get into the cabin until I called the host and had them text the directions to me directly. After talking to customer service the issue is still not resolved.
Glad to have an app BUT it is not user friendly. Having to go all over the place to find information. Messages are never there when they say they are. Also, clicking into a reservation over and over to find information about it is so confusing. Almost like you are trying to do way more than is necessary and its messy.
