I wanted to use this as a personal log for fishing, but it's priotizing being a social media platform for some reason and there's apparently no option for your profile or logged catches to be private. I don't want a bunch of strangers seeing my photos so I guess I just wont log catches on the app anymore. Otherwise the free version is functional but a lot is behind paywalls.
It's ok. The pro is definitely not worth the price. Ai predicted spots are usually dead wrong, the bite time is typically wrong, and depth charts are about as useless as can be since it needs navigatable waters for fish finders. last year, it was 50, which was almost worth it, but the new price is laughable. Basically, pro is as good as guessing. A lot of our local waters are "unidentified waters" and as far as catch positions, it's only if people let it so it's not really useful as you hope.
Used to like the app, I used to use it to see recent catches at some spots Id went to just to see what people were catching and I like to see whats the trophy of a species on the lake. But they changed it and now you need there pro subscription for $13/month for literally everything on the app. Why do I need to pay $13/month just to see recent catches at a lake. All you have access to is just liking people's posts, posting, and looking at the map. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Well I did like it at first, but it's not been as useful after I moved. Not only that, but they will refuse to stop trying to charge you for a subscription even after you cancelled it. I was charged on an account with no money and after I cancelled it they continued to try and charge that account and refused to refund it after they were successful. Scummy.
"3 Day trial turns into 1 year of uselessness." Almost $90 down now, my refund request was denied twice by google, was told to reach out to the app support directly, told there is nothing they can do on their end. Then was told to reach out to google support... thanks for having me waste my time trying to get a refund. Also im sure I canceled the 3 day trail to avoid this and now suddenly there's no trancation showing that... sketchy.
