Security & Privacy Review
After almost a year with smooth running, app now crashes every time I try to open it! Don't know if the latest Android software update killed it, (other functions certainly were affected), but I now have to clear cache and data, then sign in again every time I want to use the app! Major pain in the butt! Once I am able to open the app, all the features are fully functional.
The irony of it warning you about spoilers when you open the app, despite it putting every possible spoiler in notifications. Oh and the notifications aren't even useful. The app never opens successfully when I try to open them, so if I want to read the article, I have to dismiss the notification and go try to find it in the absolute mess the app has been for the past year.
Whoever designed this app needs to be fired. Why do the pages automatically move forward after 7 seconds? You wrote 3 sentences and gave me 7 seconds to read it. Then I try to tap to go back so I can finish reading, and it moves me to a different story. Like...I was reading that. I was interested in the story you wrote. Oh, I guess not since you didn't give me time to read it, and then the article disappears. Thanks for wasting time writing articles that no one can read.
Good centralized place for content, attractive, and easy to navigate, but rather unstable. Notifications are worthless because the app hangs when trying to open anything from them, so if I want to read something, I have to hunt it down in the app anyway. The app also randomly freezes and crashes a lot while I'm using it, which is really a pain when I'm messing around with my fantasy teams. I wouldn't even consider a premium subscription of any sort with this level of stability.
*UPDATE* There was a November 28th update, but the app still doesn't work. I GIVE UP!! The app has been bugged/broken since July 2024. There have been 4 or 5 updates to this day but it still doesn't work. It worked just fine before the July update. The problem is that when you open the app, it just closes itself immediately. I've tried reinstalling, clearing cache & data but nothing works. I have sent an email after every update. Please fix this issue!!
