Another useless facelift that breaks even more things. We don't need a prettier app, we need one that works and provides the features that were in the original. This is the second time you've done this in the last 2 years. Where are the onboard scales? Where is the Pro Power usage info? Now the app thinks my truck is electric and is trying to start charging?!? When will you just fix things instead of trying to make it look better?
So buggy and doesn't update correctly and location has been stuck for multiple days. it also prevents remote heating and locking. Cant manually start departure time. Also, what happened to zone lighting? So useful, but then taken away. The navigation to chargers are so inaccurate and unreliable. update: still unreliable and now my tailgate never opens.
The latest update now requires me to log in each time I open the app. Also, I can't see the charging history. It says that my connected services are disabled. I only disabled Ford's ability to track my driving habits (breaking, speed, etc) so they can't sell the info to insurance companies. I can still see my battery percentage and tire pressure.
This app actually saved me the hassle of possibly leaving work to find a flat tire. Truck had been parked for a couple of hours, the app sent an alert that I had a low tire. It looked ok, but showed 10 psi lower than the rest. Sure enough, I had picked up a nail. Being able to do a remote start is pretty nice too!
An okay app but could definitely be improved. It's fine for monitoring charging and works good for remote start. But it should have the option to schedule a one-time departure. If a schedule changes, you'll have your hands full, or are just dealing with life - bouncing around to different kids activities on different days, you should be able to schedule one time, ahead of time - life changes fast, Ford. They also need to polish the galaxy watch companion and make notifications more customizable.
