  I play this game a lot and I really like the gameplay. The only thing that sucks is rolling the same rolls over and over during a game. Sometimes the computer and I will get the same roll three to fives times in a row or the same roll a bunch of times in a match. I think it has to do with evening out rolls but it still is frustrating. Otherwise a challenging game.

  I have noticed, statistically, that around the time I start bearing off, my probability of rolling 1-2 or 1-1 goes to near 100%. Meanwhile, the computer's probability of rolling 1-2 or 1-1 plunges, as far as I can calculate (after hundreds of games). In addition, probabilities of rolling doubles seem to be very, very high for the computer early on in the game--when doubles are extremely advantageous. Yours, not so much. You will tire quickly of this insulting nonsense.

  I love the analysis and I do feel like using this app has made me a stronger player. I am not completely convinced, however, that the AI doesn't receive more advantageous rolls. If the AI hits you and leaves a blot in his home board you lose turns until you're completely closed out. Reverse the positions and the AI gets off the bar immediately, usually hitting your blot. The app would be so much better with fair dice.

  I've made over 10,000 rolls, more than enough to make an opinion on how much the AI cheats and am done with trying to be a better player using this app. The computer not only has an inane ability to always have the one roll that allows it to hit me, but also comes in on off the bar at far too high a percentage for this game to be considered fair.

  Bought this app to play online, but it takes numerous tries to start a match and then it will abort in the middle of the match if your connection isn't completely rock solid. Not a realistic expectation on a mobile device Update: Online multi-player is still a complete joke. If you want to play online, use a different app. Update 2: using the in-game chat during a game may cause your game to be aborted.

  After playing this app for about 15 yrs & thousands of games, I’ve noticed a recurring pattern: the AI frequently escapes seemingly hopeless positions with exactly the roll it needs, while crucial doubles during races and bear-offs often favour the bot. Overall dice statistics don’t address this concern because they ignore the timing and value of the rolls. Many experienced players have raised the same issue. The game is excellent, but the dice behaviour in key moments deserves closer scrutiny.

  Not a good app. When you increase the difficulty level you do not face a better opponent, simply an opponent that gets optimal roles of the dice more often than not.

  A very good backgammon app. It's good to know that the dice rolls are predetermined, although I do sometimes wonder if the app may sometimes offer a double. knowing what the next throw will be.
