I'm a financial advisor and just bought the app. Unfortunately, the calculations are off. In the last one I did (which I double-checked with another calculator), it was off by $3,000. I'm looking into getting reimbursed.
Probably one of the most handy tools to run a quick analysis from my phone reverse engineering a mortgage if I am missing a piece of data. I don't like that it is not tied to the app for your PC though. It's a separate charge and at a markup. Why am I paying twice for the same product? Can we not match user keys across platforms?
So far so good. I like how it is so far but at the same time you should tell people that they will have to make an additional purchase of $3.99 within the app to unlock the rest of the features (basically the rest of the blue buttons). This calculator is truly a 10bii + after you make the second purchase but it is actually a HP 10B when you first get it.
Up until recently, I loved this app. The amotization payments are now incorrect. This seems to have changed sometime over the past couple of years (not sure when). Not sure what happened in the coding but DO NOT rely on the loan numbers being right. They are close but not correct.
I have used this app for over a decade as a full-time mortgage loan originator. It is fantastic and it allows me to always have my calculator with me! It does everything that my 'real' calculators do and I prefer it in this App format to the real handheld calculator. totally worth it.
