Doesn't work. Doesn't sync correctly between apps that should work with it. No user interface at all on my new Pixel 9A. Says you're supposed to be able to access it in Settings but it's not there. I have to access it through the swipe down at the top of my phone, but like I said, no interface at all. Just a section where you give your apps permissions, but still nothing works. All I'm trying to sync is Google Fit and My Air apps.
The app refuses to sync sleep data after daylight savings or time zones. There is no ability to troubleshoot in this app, or request assistance and the help pages consist of basic common sense troubleshooting, then tells you to talk to whatever app you are trying to sync with (but they'll just say they can't help because it's a third party app, even if they're both made by Google). For an app whose entire function is to sync with other apps, you'd think it would be able to do that one thing
Impossible to use; I couldn't find it on my phone and had to open the play store and go to this page to open it. There's no icon in my app drawer and it doesn't show up in search results on my phone. Apparently you can only find it in Settings>Apps>See all apps. It doesn't seem like it's meant for the user. What's even the point of it? Truly baffling and frustrating. I can't in good conscience recommend an app that's supposed to let you control your data but is hidden on your phone.
I realize this is a backend app for data syncing, but it really should be integrated with Fit rather than a separate app (which is really just a setting, not a real app). I'm getting double counted on steps and activity because Fit, Zepp (my fitness watch app), and Fitbit are all reporting the same activity. Health Connect should recognize the activity that occurs over the same time period as one thing.
This is a useless app. Now that Google took over Fitbit, and updates to Health, you can no longer export from fitbit reports like weight from last 30 days, it says to use this health connect app. I installed this app, verified it is connected to desired apps (Fitbit, Health). I then exited and looked for the shortcut button to re-open and potintially make more setting changes. No shortcut button existed. This does not show up as an app to open at all. The only way to open is to use playstore.
