Great service at a fair price. What's really great about this app is that it offers multi hop capabilities through their secure core based in multiple privacy friendly countries. For some reason, that's a rare, but critical feature for privacy. No other major provider offers that, not even Nord. Breaking through 1 VPN, possible and not hard for some. Breaking through 3 of them? Good luck. Better pack a lunch and be ready for a lot of delivery. Up to 10 devices, run a VM and run the VPN in VM.
I reused. The free servers are better on Android than on my iPhone. It actually connects you to your country. The problem I have now is still the random disconnecting multiple times a day. Paid or free, it's always been this way for a while. Maybe try ads in the app for stability, or force at least 1 ad per day to use the app if using the free version.
I paid for 1 year and it does not work with Netflix (paid version with no ads, highest tier). editing to reply: one time Netflix detected the VPN and stopped working. at other times it works but does not refresh the catalog. occasionally, it works the I want i.e. refreshes the catalog. I tried multiple servers and refreshing app cache etc. but no luck. it works maybe 1 out of 15 attempts. that's pretty poor for a paid service.
This VPN works well, and I have no issues with the speed or the interface. But I am comparing this to NordVPN, and 2 notable features are missing: No pause option, and No auto-connect after phone restart. Those are not critical flaws, per se, but they're making me reconsider going back to Nord. I used the pause feature frequently, so that is the toughest loss. So, 4 stars. Much less important: it's a tad slow to connect to a server (esp. on desktop), and there are fewer US servers.
love the app and the speed, especially on high security, has improved greatly over the years. I now use full time on all my devices. There are a few websites that don't fully function or that you can't go directly to from Google, but I just use alternate routes or turn off for a few moments. It's a small price to pay! The number of ads and trackers that show blocked is so high I question it at times, but I suppose it is multiple hits? at any rate, love it !
