Gameplay doesn't match the images (images show a single-player adventure game). There's a small adventure element where you battle monsters, but it's very minor. The main game is competitive with elements of idle resource-farming & battle against other kingdoms/servers. As others mentioned, it's heavily pay-to-win and you won't win many battles unless you drop thousands in $. There aren't any gameplay updates after a server reaches S3, just more money-grab to make your characters stronger.
First few days it was smooth but after that I was starting to run out of material to use. Heroes requirements for battle is way too much just to keep going in one spot. The hero level can be limited by the castle if it's not high level enough. Worst part is that the game DRAINS my battery very quickly for absolutely no reason and even overheats. In conclusion: boring, repetitive and unfair. Literally no guide to any of the systems.
Pay to win, but can still be enjoyable. There are events that you cannot complete without spending, most others are very difficult to win without spending even if you play 16 hours a day. Most items (e.g. Relics) that allow you to compete are only available through purchases. I have played with friends for six months. It is not a free to play friendly game. It is the people playing that make it enjoyable. The only competitive players in our guild spend over $400/month.
I like the fake ad version better. it's honestly more fun to just run outside the gate, whack a monster 69 times and then breaking the phones processing ability by making so much meat and gold that it literally cannot keep up. the actual game itself is more involved yes. but I like the fake version 1000x more because it's simple, and it's just fun to see how much money/meat i can get before my phone crashes.
You have to make a city. Managing and building is not up to par with other games. You have to move buildings to get small things to activate to move. Causing alot of wasted time. Also, there are small icons showing progress of a building or character, these do not go away as you are building causing lots of confusion and miss taps trying to manage your city. This is like half the game. Not a good experience.
