Unable to actually play Chess due to ads for other mobile games. I tried several times, each time an ad would start but even after waiting several minutes, no method to skip the ad would appear on screen. Even when playing along with the advertisement, it would only lead to downloading another game. Want to save yourself 10 minutes? Use a different chess app.
I hate their ads. They make it exceptionally difficult to bypass the ads even after 45 seconds. I have to click several different buttons. It's super frustrating. If you're going to throw even more ads at me (not that I don't already see enough already) then please give me the option of bypassing them or declining them after a few seconds.... With the amount of ads that I see plus high prices I have swore I will NEVER purchase anything I've seen an advertisement for.
It's a fun, different playing style, but the programmers have destroyed it with RNDLESS ads. Many of these ads run on for whole minutes, and you can even marg them off as "not interested" but yhe stupid, greedy algorithm on this one will keep playing the same ad or to for 5 -6 minutes and you just can't get out of it. I realize that the only thing on an ad creator's mind is "I'll FORCE these gamers to watch my mediocre game for 5-6 minutes and I'll be rich! Uhmm... Wrong. You just get bad review
The ads are a huge problem and the frequency interferes with gameplay. There have been times I moved a piece and a scam Amazon award popped up. The ads are loud and you can't turn off the volume. There was some traffic game that I had to play a sample of the game to get it to go away. Also it's not good at teaching. I was doing great until a certain level (Easy III?) and it suddenly became impossible to beat. Minimal instruction or help for learners.
There are so many ads. The game seems fine overall. The jump in puzzle difficulty from normal to hard is a bit rough, but that's fine. however, every single puzzle you complete, and every time you make a wrong move, you have to watch an ad, which will be a game. You either have to try the game or wait 20+ seconds and then it still takes you to a black screen with the only option being to click the store link for said game for another 10 seconds or so before you can exit back to the puzzle.
