DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. NOT a pleasant experience. FOR YEARS, I always have my phone on do not disturb at night, with all my volumes off. This app took over my phone volume at full blast and set a secret alarm within the app to go off at sunrise that I didn't set. I had just downloaded it the other day and hadn't had a chance to use it yet. This is NOT a trustworthy app. I finally had to uninstall the app to make an extremely overly loud high pitching chiming alarm that woke up my family. 😡
Worth every penny. My sleep scores went from the 70s to average 89 in the past month. The sleep story voices are excellent and I hardly ever make it past 5min before conking out. It's nice to be able to have the white noise/ water sound in the background even with other apps open. Haven't tried the other stuff, but great for falling asleep.
Edited review to 5 stars..... I use Abide throughout the night, every night, while we sleep. I wish we had the ability to loop one of the music options (not the background music) while playing one of the sleep stories. It'd also be nice if we had more background music options that will continue throughout the night, after the story ends. The main takeaway is that I use this app every night, and would be lost without it. Thank you Abide team!
I love this app! It makes it so much easier to fall asleep, and I drift off thinking about positive things like God's love instead of bills and work! There are also short meditations you can listen to anytime, (in your car, on your lunch break, while waiting for a meeting) to help you decompress, refocus and melt some stress. And it dosen't cost as much as some of the other, non faith based, apps I have tried!
I like this app except it would be great if the sleep stories were grouped into categories to help find a new one to try easier. Also anytime I click on one to see the little blurb about it and then decide not to listen to that one, the list goes all the way back to the top instead of where I was, which is really frustrating. So basically just making it easier to sort through and read about them before I pick one would be great. If they update that, then 5 stars from me!
